Job summary

Global Electric Power Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Controls professional to manage schedules, cost control, and reporting for major EPC/EPCC construction projects at a site in Bulacan, Philippines. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

The candidate will handle Primavera P6 CPM scheduling, earn value analysis, risk registers, and monthly progress claims, with readiness to be stationed full-time on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project controls, planning or cost control on EPC / EPCC construction projects, with at least 2 years site-based.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 — able to interrogate, update, monitor and analyse cost- and resource-loaded CPM schedules and challenge the schedule author’s logic.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.
• Practical understanding of progress measurement, earned value principles, rules of credit and Scurve development.
• Experience maintaining risk registers and running structured risk review meetings.
• Hands-on experience preparing monthly progress claims / payment applications and running a site document control system.
• Working knowledge of EPC contract mechanisms: milestones, variations, EOT, liquidated damages, retention and bonds.
• Willingness to be based full-time at the project site in the Philippines.
• Experience on BESS, solar PV, substation or grid-connection projects.
• Exposure to Philippine construction practice, permitting and local subcontractor market.
• Familiarity with lender / independent engineer reporting requirements.
• PMI-SP, PMP, AACE (PSP / CCP) or equivalent certification.
• Working proficiency in Filipino and English.
