Job summary

Viventis Search Asia is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiations, demand planning, supplier governance, logistics coordination, procurement systems, and performance reporting.

You will manage procurement priorities, tender processes, supplier selection, contract compliance, and procurement‑related risks to ensure quality, transparency, supply continuity, and measurable cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or project purchasing.
• Experience handling warehouse, industrial, logistics, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, contractor management, and procurement processes.
• Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, bidding procedures, and cost analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including bidding, supplier accreditation, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and project timelines.
• Review project plans, BOQs, technical specifications, and material requirements with engineering and project teams.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service agreements, and supply contracts to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Monitor supplier and contractor performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely procurement and project execution.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Analyze market trends, pricing movements, and supply chain risks affecting construction materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards related to procurement and construction operations.
• Support budget planning, cost control, and procurement reporting for management review.
