Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Review technical specifications and ensure purchased materials meet project requirements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, inquiries, and requests for quotations (RFQs).
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier databases, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Track and report procurement progress to management.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer.
• Experience in procurement within construction company.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an advantage.
