Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and monitoring the delivery of construction materials, equipment, and services required for project operations. The role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and adherence to company policies and project requirements.
Assist in developing and executing procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of construction materials, equipment, and services.
Prepare, review, and process purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement-related documents in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Conduct supplier negotiations to obtain favorable pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms while fostering productive and long-term vendor relationships.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and relevant stakeholders to determine procurement requirements and maintain accurate records of inventory and resource availability.
Monitor procurement activities and order status, proactively addressing delays, discrepancies, or supply issues to support uninterrupted project operations.
Provide administrative support by maintaining organized procurement records, supplier databases, and preparing periodic procurement reports and analyses.
Support initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing best practices in supply chain and vendor management.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and procurement processes.
Familiarity with supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/Procurement systems.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
