Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead our Food and Non-Food Procurement functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, leading strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall Food and Non-Food Procurement functions.
- Develop and implement procurement and strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods and services.
- Oversee purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement approval processes.
- Monitor procurement cycle times and identify opportunities to improve fulfillment efficiency.
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, accreditation, negotiation, and onboarding activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic and key suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and monitor compliance with established KPIs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiencies and value creation.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, supplier capabilities, and potential supply risks.
- Manage procurement budgets and support business units in achieving financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop procurement controls to minimize operational, financial, legal, and supply chain risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Procurement Team.
- Establish performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
- Identify and implement improvements in procurement systems, policies, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or other closely related courses.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or senior leadership role in Procurement.
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, supplier accreditation, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.
- Knowledge of importation procedures, government permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, financial analysis, budgeting, cost management, and reporting skills.
- Excellent leadership, people management, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Supply, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified Purchasing Professional are an advantage.
