Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5–8 years of managerial experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations management.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of SPS permit processing, importation requirements, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and government requirements.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Experience developing policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Strong planning, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Willing to travel and work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement operations to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials, products, and services.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and requirements.
• Oversee supplier sourcing, evaluation, accreditation, and performance management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and vendor terms to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Manage importation processes, including SPS clearance applications, permit renewals, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies for timely release and delivery of imports.
• Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee procurement budgets, supplier expenditures, and resource utilization.
• Support the General Manager in achieving operational goals.
• Lead and develop procurement teams through performance management and coaching.
• Maintain strong communication with department heads and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and government standards.
• Participate in crisis management and business continuity planning.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

The position is responsible for leading the procurement function to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services, efficient supplier management, and compliance with importation and regulatory requirements. It supports organizational goals by overseeing procurement operations, administrative processes, supplier relationships, and regulatory clearances while driving operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
