Job summary

Intelligent Technical Solutions is seeking a Proactive Team Network Administrator to drive automation, mentor engineers, and manage Tier 3 escalations. The role focuses on reducing operational noise through automation, maintaining robust documentation, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The position requires strong Windows Server, networking, and virtualization skills, plus experience with ConnectWise PSA and RMM platforms. A home office setup and full-time schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in IT services, cybersecurity, systems or network administration.
• Proven expertise handling Tier 3 escalations across server environments.
• Strong Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, GP).
• Solid networking experience (VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, switches).
• Experience with virtualization: VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and manage technical documentation and SOPs.
• Excellent problem solving and project leadership skills.
• Strong mentoring and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Minimum five years IT support or admin experience.
• Scripting/automation knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Proactive monitoring, alerts design, implementation, and KPI linkage.
• Mentor technicians and resolve Tier 3 escalations.
• Develop automation scripts and drive automation adoption.
• Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge bases, and guidelines.
• Review ticket closures for quality and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Service Manager and leaders to align tech initiatives.
