Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Reconciliation Senior Officer to oversee cash reconciliations for complex accounts within the North American Client Service Platform. You will guide Officers, ensure accurate reporting, and support a smooth transition of activities to India-based teams.

You will bring 5+ years in financial operations or reconciliation, with strong analytical skills, knowledge of syndicated loans, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or reconciliation.
• Sound knowledge of syndicated loans &Structured Credit products.
• Experience with reconciliation software and loan platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash reconciliations for complex accounts, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
• Review reconciliation reports for accuracy and internal controls compliance.
• Act as first point of contact for escalation of reconciliation issues with Manager support.
• Support transition of reconciliation activities to NA-based and India-based teams with knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and standardization in reconciliation processes.
• Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, providing feedback for process improvements.
• Participate in initiatives to reduce errors and shorten cycle times.
• Train and mentor Officers on reconciliation processes.
