Job summary

Alter Domus in Taguig, PH, is seeking a Night Shift Loan Reconciliation Manager to lead a global reconciliation function within NA CSP. The role emphasizes building a high‑performing team, implementing efficient processes, and delivering accurate, timely reconciliations.

The ideal candidate brings 12‑15 years in funds administration with strong leadership, KPI/SLA development, and knowledge of syndicated loans and loan platforms. Global transitions experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 12‑15 years of experience in funds administration or financial operations with focus on reconciliation.
  • Sound knowledge of Syndicated Loans/ private loans, structured credit products like CDOs and CLOs.
  • Working knowledge of loan platforms such as WSO and Sentry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor and develop a team of reconciliation specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Utilize your strong technical knowledge to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve reconciliation issues and provide insights into open items, ensuring knowledge transfer during transitions.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies; prepare and review reconciliation packs and provide sign‑off.
  • Maintain KPI and SLA metrics for internal monitoring and enhance end‑to‑end reconciliation performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and drive automation to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure a 24‑hour reconciliation operating model to support global operations and improve service coverage.
  • Build and lead a high‑performance reconciliation team in India, focused on month‑end close targets.
  • Foster accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence within the team.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities to team members.
  • Lead the identification, design, and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
  • Use data‑driven insights to enhance the reconciliation process, reducing errors and cycle times.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Reconciliation Manager will lead a team responsible for ongoing management of all cash reconciliations within the North American Client Service Platform (NA CSP). This role requires a blend of strong managerial skills and technical knowledge and will be instrumental in building a high‑performing team, designing robust processes, and implementing efficiency improvements across the reconciliation function. It is the first‑level managerial role and will be responsible for the accurate deliverables and the people involved. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in funds administration, a strong background in reconciliation processes, and a proven track record in managing large‑scale transitions and process optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise, mentor and develop a team of reconciliation specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Utilize your strong technical knowledge to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve reconciliation issues and provide insights into open items, and ensure seamless knowledge transfer while minimizing disruption during the transition phase.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies; prepare and review reconciliation packs and provide sign‑off.
  • Maintain agreed KPI and SLA metrics for internal monitoring and enhance performance of the end‑to‑end reconciliation process.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and drive automation to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure a 24‑hour reconciliation operating model to support global operations and improve service coverage.
  • Build and lead a high‑performance reconciliation team in India, focused on achieving month‑end close targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence within the team.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities to team members, promoting professional growth and retention.
  • Lead the identification, design, and implementation of process improvement initiatives.

PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 12‑15 years of experience in funds administration, financial operations, or related areas, with a strong focus on reconciliation processes.
  • Sound knowledge of Syndicated Loans/ private loans, structured credit products like CDOs and CLOs.
  • Working knowledge of different Loan platforms such as WSO and Sentry is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing large‑scale transitions, preferably in a global context.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
  • Experience in developing and implementing KPIs and SLAs in a financial operations environment.
