Job summary

MoneyHero Limited in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (Insurance) to lead and grow the insurance commercial function. You will build partnerships with Philippine insurers, brokers, and distribution partners while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the Philippine insurance or financial services industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated track record of building and growing insurer or broker partnerships in the Philippines.
• Solid understanding of Philippine insurance regulations, including IC guidelines, BSP-regulated products, and compliance standards.
• Experience managing multiple insurance verticals, especially motor insurance and non-life in the Philippines.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage BD/sales teams in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior partners.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Filipino/Tagalog is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the insurance commercial strategy in the Philippines across motor, travel and non-life products.
• Own and manage relationships with Philippine-based insurers, brokers, and distribution partners; drive negotiations and partnerships.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to surface revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and operations to execute compliant campaigns.
• Evaluate and implement sales tools to streamline operations and boost productivity.
• Establish KPIs and performance frameworks for sales initiatives.
• Strengthen MMX-partner relationships across billing, reports, claims and customer workflows.
• Serve as escalation point for commercial, regulatory, and operational issues with cross-functional teams.
