Job summary

HR Network Inc. is seeking a senior leader to steer overall strategy, operations, and profitability across Life and Non-Life insurance segments in the Philippines.

You will guide underwriting, risk management, portfolio management, and complex corporate accounts while driving sales and market expansion. The role requires deep insurance expertise, a proven track record in leadership and cross-functional oversight, and the ability to build and maintain strategic industry relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant insurance experience.
• Strong and substantial Non-Life Insurance experience, particularly in underwriting and technical insurance.
• Proven experience in sales, distribution, business development, marketing, and corporate insurance.
• Demonstrated experience managing a business unit with direct accountability for revenue, profitability, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Strong technical insurance expertise and an established industry network.
• Experience in senior leadership and managing multiple business/support functions.
• Soliciting Officer/Soliciting Official credentials and experience, subject to applicable Insurance Commission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall business strategy, operations, performance, profitability, and growth.
• Oversee key business and corporate support functions across the organization.
• Develop business plans, budgets, targets, KPIs, and growth strategies.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for Life and Non-Life Insurance, particularly Non-Life underwriting, risk management, placement, portfolio management, and complex corporate accounts.
• Drive sales, distribution, business development, client retention, renewals, cross-selling, and market expansion.
• Develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities, products, markets, and distribution channels.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, scalability, and competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Commission requirements, the Insurance Code, applicable laws, and internal governance and risk controls.
• Oversee financial performance, profitability, budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation.
