Job summary

ECLOF Philippines Microfinance, Inc. invites an experienced Senior HR Officer to join the Human Resources team at the Quezon City office. The role oversees recruitment, training and development, and compensation and benefits administration, reporting to the HR Manager.

You will drive strategic HR initiatives, maintain compliant HR practices, and support workforce needs with data-driven insights. This full-time position emphasizes collaboration across departments and people-first outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience in recruitment: job analysis, sourcing, and selection.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs for various employee levels.
• Competence in compensation and benefits administration and payroll support.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Filipino.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS/HR software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR information.
• Team collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive HR improvements and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of learning management systems or HR analytics tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: posting, screening, interview scheduling, and coordination with hiring managers.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Coordinate pre-employment steps such as background checks and medical examinations.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programmes for induction and development.
• Identify training needs and create tailored development plans.
• Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Benchmark compensation and benefits to stay competitive.
• Provide employee support on benefits, policy clarifications, and compensation concerns.
• Maintain confidential HR records and data protection compliance.
• Support HR policy development and organisational procedures.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics on recruitment, training and compensation.
• Collaborate with HR functions for seamless service delivery and engagement.
