Southern Arms Corporation is seeking an experienced Hiring Manager to lead our recruitment team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This full-time role oversees the entire hiring process, shapes workforce strategy, and builds high-performing teams across the organisation.

You will drive talent acquisition, manage stakeholders, mentor juniors, and ensure compliance with local laws and policies while maintaining a strong employer brand and pipeline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in recruitment or HR with 2+ years in a hiring manager role.
• Proven track record filling roles across departments and levels.
• Strong knowledge of Philippines employment laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience using ATS and recruitment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with goals.
• Manage full lifecycle: posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
• Build relationships with candidates and provide positive experiences.
• Conduct interviews and assessments for qualifications and culture fit.
• Negotiate terms and extend offers to selected candidates.
• Maintain recruitment records and report on hiring metrics.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Mentor junior recruiters and stay updated on trends.
• Develop talent pipelines and employer branding initiatives.
