Job summary

Manulife is seeking a senior data scientist to join the MGS Advanced Analytics team in a hybrid role. You will develop analytics solutions, own end-to-end projects, and translate complex data into clear business guidance.

You will work with stakeholders, mentor juniors, and apply ML/AI techniques, NLP/LLM, and diverse visualization tools to deliver reliable insights for customer lifecycle analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of applicable data science experience with programming and analytics.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; strong ML/AI knowledge.
• Experience designing AI/NLP/LLM solutions and data visualization.
• Advanced degree or Bachelor with equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver analytics-enabled solutions addressing business needs.
• Own end-to-end analytics projects of moderate complexity.
• Analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior data scientists.
