Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior Software Technical Analyst to lead the design and delivery of software solutions across the organization, mentoring junior analysts and providing complex development and support. The role collaborates with technology and business operations teams to improve overall services.

The candidate will establish framework standards, develop best practices, and coach agile teams while handling end-to-end delivery, testing, deployment, and knowledge sharing in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in software development or analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC/Agile.
• Experience with L3 support and mentoring.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn complex applications and data.
• Strong academic record or related internship/work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver software solutions across multiple businesses, teams, departments.
• Develop best practices for application development tools.
• Train or support training of best practices, standards, framework to agile teams.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, architecture and logic.
• Document according to company standards and SOPs.
• Debug, support, and break-fix software solutions when needed.
• Contribute to knowledge base and document engagements.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
