Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to prepare complex reports for external clients using multiple data sources and analytics tools. You will transform data into insights, drive self-service analytics, and ensure adherence to P&C guidelines across reports.

You will lead data quality, governance, and cross-functional analytics initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to influence decisions through data storytelling and executive-ready presentations.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with numerical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex, non-standard reports for external customers using multiple source systems.
• Define enterprise reporting standards and KPIs to drive insight and self-service analytics.
• Lead data quality frameworks, validation methodologies, and audit mechanisms.
• Manage report lifecycle, governance, and documentation to ensure compliance and scalability.
