Job summary

Manulife Financial is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to strengthen our BI capabilities across Asia. You will lead BI programs for global, regional, and local teams, partner with stakeholders to tailor data solutions, and drive data quality and insights through a robust analytics framework.

The role emphasizes team leadership, data transformation, and delivering compelling dashboards and narratives to stakeholders, leveraging cloud-based data platforms and modern BI practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in BI/Data analytics roles such as BI Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Proficient in data manipulation, analysis, warehousing, mining/extraction, visualization, and ETL processes.
• Proficient in Power BI, SQL, Python, R, Spark, and Excel for data querying, manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with big data tools such as ADLS, Data Factory, DataBricks, etc.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical solutions.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of global, regional, and local BI programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document requirements.
• Develop project plans, risk registers, and communication/training plans.
• Direct daily activities and guide the team to meet objectives.
• Lead ETL and data applications on a cloud-based Enterprise Data Lake platform.
