Job summary

BruntWork is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and cash management. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks Online experience and a background in multi-entity accounting, consolidations, intercompany transactions, inventory, revenue recognition, AP/AR, payroll, and management reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including Controller/Accounting Manager roles.
• Strong hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, cutoffs, and financial statements.
• Manage QBO cleanup, error correction, reconciliations, and process improvements.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting, consolidations, intercompany transactions, eliminations, and due-to/due-from accounts.
• Ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition and proper cutoffs.
• Oversee inventory, COGS, payroll, AP/AR, and cash management.
