Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Senior Construction Bookkeeper (QuickBooks) with 3+ years of multi-client experience to elevate financial operations for construction clients. You will review bookkeeping, resolve discrepancies, and mentor a growing team, leveraging Advanced QBO Certification as a major advantage.

Responsibilities include month-end reviews, AR/AP management, tax filings, and developing SOPs while coaching staff. This remote role aligns with Pacific Time hours for US-based clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QBO bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cash vs accrual accounting; construction focus is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly bookkeeping and coach team members.
• Manage accounts receivable (invoicing) and accounts payable (bill payments).
• Prepare and review sales and excise tax filings.
• Assist with cleanups/catch-ups and set up standardized processes.
• Create SOPs and video training content.
• Lead trainings to build technical and client-facing skills.
• Review financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) for clients.
• Serve as a trusted contact for high-value clients.
• Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
• Identify ways to improve processes and workflows.
