Job summary

Staff X - Offshore Staffing is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to own the live scheduling programme for a portfolio of insurance repair and rebuild jobs. You will work directly with project managers in a construction controls environment, navigating real-time disruptions and making autonomous scheduling decisions across 30 to 40 projects per manager.

This is a full work-from-home role, requiring strong English communication with Australian tradespeople and the ability to keep all stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of scheduling, project coordination, or similar experience in a construction or building environment.
• Strong spoken and written English with the confidence to communicate with Australian tradespeople over the phone.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, investigate problems, and make decisions without step-by-step guidance.
• High-volume work management capable of handling many concurrent short-duration jobs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and reschedule insurance repair jobs in real time using the client’s platform.
• Apply construction sequencing knowledge to autonomous scheduling across 30–40 projects per project manager.
• Make and receive calls with site supervisors and tradespeople to gather real-time updates and resolve blockers.
• Issue purchase orders to tradespeople and subcontractors with clear dates and scope.
• Communicate proactively with project managers when tasks risk missing targets or require escalation.
• Maintain accurate job records, notes, and status fields in the platform.
• Monitor KPI dashboard in Power BI to track daily and weekly task completion against targets.
