Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking an Appointment Setter (Scheduler) to support a leading Australian construction and maintenance services client. You will plan, scope, schedule and allocate resources to meet internal and external requirements, coordinating technicians, tradespeople, subcontractors and clients to optimize daily schedules.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive and able to stay calm under pressure, juggling multiple priorities and owning issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of coordination or scheduling experience.
• Experience in construction or maintenance is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong initiative with ownership of issues.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask.
• Attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Answer high volume calls as first point of contact.
• Liaise with clients to understand service needs and scheduling requirements.
• Monitor urgent maintenance requests and escalate when needed.
• Optimize daily schedules and technician allocations for productivity.
• Coordinate with tradesmen and subcontractors for service work.
• Provide job progress updates to clients.
• Communicate scheduling challenges to management.
• Identify issues and propose practical resolutions.
• Perform general administrative duties as directed by management.
• Provide additional scheduling support as required.
• Meet client requirements through effective scheduling.
