Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Collections Analyst for a remote night shift role. You will lead high-risk payment exception resolutions, drive process automation, and develop KPI dashboards. The position requires strong accounting expertise and a track record in A/R and revenue cycle management.

You will partner with Technology and Finance, mentor junior analysts, and participate in SOX-controlled month-end closes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive operational experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, revenue cycle management, or financial accounting operations.
• Expert-level mastery of double-entry accounting, complex A/R reconciliations, bank lockbox/EDI processing, and ledger auditing.
• Advanced Excel skills to handle large data sets, complex formulas, and data modeling for metrics and ledger trends.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and scalable operational solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentorship skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Escalation and complex resolution for high-risk payment exceptions and unapplied cash discrepancies.
• Process transformation and automation partnerships to optimize cash-matching rules and ERP upgrades.
• Analytics and performance reporting using large data sets and KPI dashboards.
• Root-cause analysis and continuous improvement for recurring payment mismatches and bank file errors.
• Team leadership and mentorship, creating SOPs and training materials.
• Cross-functional partnering with Billing, Collections, Treasury, and Accounting.
• SOX governance and close execution with minimal supervision.
