MicroSourcing is hiring a Senior Cash Application Analyst for a remote night-shift role. You will resolve high-risk payment issues, drive automation, and deliver KPI dashboards. Candidates should have 5+ years in cash applications or related accounting operations, with expert Excel and ERP experience.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, SOX controls, and mentorship of junior analysts within a dynamic offshore team.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills to handle large datasets and complex formulas.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and drive improvements.
• Experience collaborating with Billing, Treasury and Accounting teams.
• Experience mentoring junior Analysts and documenting SOPs.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Escalation & Complex Resolution: resolve high-risk payment exceptions and unapplied cash discrepancies.
• Process Transformation & Automation: drive automation in cash-matching and ERP upgrades.
• Analytics & Performance Reporting: develop KPI dashboards and analytics on large data sets.
• Root-Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement: investigate recurring mismatches to implement fixes.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: coach Analysts I & II; create SOPs and training materials.
• Cross-Functional Partnering: align revenue cycle workflows with Billing, Collections, Treasury, and Accounting.
• SOX Governance & Close Execution: ensure SOX compliance and lead month-end close reconciliations.
