Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to support daily financial operations for a US-based manufacturing client. The role focuses on billing, cash applications, and proactive collections, maintaining positive customer relations while ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities include contacting US customers, issuing invoices, negotiating repayment schedules, applying cash receipts in the ERP, and producing weekly cash-flow reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections management.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication, especially with US-based clients.
• High persistence, tact and professionalism in collections activities and negotiating repayment schedules.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software experience.
• Ability to work self-directed in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Make regular outbound calls and send written communications to US customers to follow up on past-due accounts.
• Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Compute credit terms, discounts, and charges for accurate billing documentation.
• Negotiate structured repayment schedules with past-due customers and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Resolve billing inquiries professionally to maintain client satisfaction.
• Apply cash receipts and record payments in the ERP system.
• Prepare weekly deliverables to support cash forecasting and KPI reporting.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and perform general administrative tasks.
