JJF Frozen Foods in Pangasinan, Philippines, seeks an experienced Cold Storage Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our cold storage warehouse operations, ensuring safe, compliant storage, inventory accuracy, and on-time order fulfillment. • 5+ years of experience in cold storage warehouse operations, with 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in cold storage, frozen food, FMCG, manufacturing, or food distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP and Philippine regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other applications.

Responsibilities

As our organization continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Cold Storage Warehouse Operations Manager who will lead and oversee the overall operations of our warehouse.

Job Summary

The Cold Storage Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company's cold storage warehouse, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant storage, inventory management, and distribution of frozen and temperature-controlled products. The role ensures operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, and timely order fulfillment while leading warehouse personnel and continuously improving warehouse processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee the daily operations of the cold storage warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.


• Plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatching, and delivery preparation activities.


• Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space while maintaining proper product segregation and organization.


• Develop and implement warehouse operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.


• Monitor warehouse capacity and recommend improvements for storage optimization.

Inventory Management

• Ensure accurate inventory records through effective inventory control systems.


• Oversee stock movements including receiving, transfers, returns, and dispatches.


• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.


• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.


• Ensure proper FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices where applicable.


• Maintain high inventory accuracy.

Cold Storage & Temperature Control

• Ensure all cold storage facilities maintain required temperature standards.


• Monitor refrigeration systems and coordinate maintenance when necessary.


• Ensure proper handling of frozen and temperature-sensitive products.


• Respond immediately to temperature deviations or equipment failures.


• Maintain accurate temperature monitoring records and logs.

Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and company quality requirements.


• Ensure compliance with government regulations affecting cold storage operations.


• Implement proper sanitation and housekeeping standards.


• Ensure warehouse practices meet internal and external audit requirements.


• Coordinate with Quality Assurance during inspections and audits.

Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and personnel.


• Prepare work schedules and manpower allocation.


• Monitor employee performance and productivity.


• Conduct training programs related to warehouse operations, food safety, and workplace safety.


• Promote discipline, teamwork, and a positive working environment.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, and other associated teams.


• Ensure timely preparation and release of customer orders.


• Monitor dispatch schedules to meet delivery deadlines.


• Resolve operational issues affecting warehouse and delivery activities.

Equipment and Facility Management

• Ensure proper maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, refrigeration equipment, and warehouse facilities.


• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.


• Report equipment issues and arrange repairs promptly.

Health and Safety

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.


• Implement warehouse safety procedures and emergency response protocols.


• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.


• Investigate warehouse accidents and recommend corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor warehouse KPIs and operational performance.


• Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities.


• Prepare warehouse operational reports for management.


• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase productivity.

Budget and Cost Control

• Assist in preparing warehouse operating budgets.


• Monitor warehouse operating expenses.


• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and service.

Other Responsibilities

• Develop contingency plans for operational disruptions.


• Support company expansion and warehouse improvement projects.


• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications
