Job summary

ACCIONA Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Works General Superintendent for the Malolos Clark Railway project in the Philippines. Reporting directly to the Civil Construction Manager, he/she will supervise civil works across multiple fronts and coordinate diverse teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes production efficiency, safety, quality, and cost control, with oversight of earthworks, drainage, foundations and reinforced concrete structures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil construction and multidisciplinary oversight.
• Experience with earthworks, drainage, foundations, and structures.
• Strong focus on productivity, safety, quality and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate and supervise daily execution of civil works across fronts.
• Coordinate foremen, supervisors, labor, subcontractors and equipment operators.
• Supervise earthworks, site prep, excavation, backfilling and compaction.
• Oversee drainage systems including culverts and pipes.
• Coordinate foundations, piling, and substructure elements.
• Supervise reinforced concrete works including formwork and pouring.
• Coordinate heavy machinery and equipment management.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, and quality procedures.
• Monitor progress, productivity and resource utilization.
