Job summary

E2C International is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage monthly close activities and prepare tax-ready books for multi-entity and founder-owned businesses. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online skills, experience with reconciliations and intercompany transactions, and the ability to clean up complex books and improve accounting processes.

Experience working with tax firms and AI-assisted accounting workflows is a plus.

Qualifications

4+ years of full-charge bookkeeping with sole close ownership.
QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification preferred; advanced skill required either way.
Experience with multi-entity or intercompany books, ideally for professional services or real estate.
Experience in or alongside a tax firm and knowledge of year-end prep.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly close for a portfolio of client entities with reconciled statements.
Deliver tax-ready books: accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, owner distributions vs loans.
Clean up inherited books and document corrections.
Build close checklist, COA standards, and document-request processes.
Work with bank feeds, receipt capture, categorization rules, and AI workflows.
