Job summary

Offshore MVP is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to manage supplier invoices, ensure proper approval and coding, and run weekly and ad-hoc payments from Clark Freeport, Philippines. You will reconcile statements, maintain vendor data, and support cashflow forecasting.

The role involves collaboration with procurement and treasury teams, ensuring payment terms compliance, and driving continuous improvements in AP processes to mitigate supplier risks and improve reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Experience with statement reconciliations and month-end close.
• High-volume invoice-processing experience and attention to detail.
• Understanding of three-way matching and Australian GST requirements.
• Strong payment controls and awareness of supplier fraud risks.
• Analytical ability and cash-flow awareness.
• Effective management of deadlines and competing priorities.
• A collaborative, adaptable and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Clear supplier and internal-stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Management: Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and employee expense claims in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure all invoices are appropriately authorised and coded.
• Prepare and process weekly and ad-hoc payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with payment terms.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide AP ageing reports, highlighting overdue balances and supplier risks.
• Support month-end close with AP accruals and reconciliations.
• Contribute to management reporting by providing payables and cashflow insights.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline AP and forecasting processes.
• Support with preparation of short-term cashflow forecasting and reporting as required.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as primary contact for supplier queries and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Partner with procurement and operational teams to align purchasing and payment cycles with cashflow requirements.
• Collaborate with Treasury/Finance teams to optimise cash utilisation.
