Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Officer in the Philippines to handle invoicing, supplier payments, bank reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting tasks. Reporting to the AP Team Lead, you will work with local suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing.

The role requires attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and 2–3 years of AP experience. Day shift, full-time, with opportunities for growth in a supportive Finance Shared Services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or a related Finance role.
• Experience using online banking platforms and/or payment platforms.
• Experience performing bank and account reconciliations.
• Basic experience preparing and posting journal entries in an accounting or ERP system.
• Basic experience with payroll processing and/or payroll accounting is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to work on a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices from Philippine and local suppliers accurately and within agreed payment terms.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate approval.
• Verify supplier details, invoice amounts, payment terms, tax information, and banking details.
• Perform invoice matching and investigate discrepancies before payment processing.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries related to Accounts Payable and bank transactions.
• Assist with payroll-related processing and accounting activities as assigned.
• Monitor invoice due dates and maintain an organized payment schedule.
• Assist with month-end AP, bank reconciliation, payroll accounting, and journal entry activities.
