Job summary

Thumbtack Philippines is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This remote role, based in the Philippines, operates on a Pacific Time schedule to coordinate AP processes for Thumbtack globally.

You will own full AP cycle across US, Canada, and PH entities, ensure timely payments, reconcile statements, and support month-end close. Proactive improvements and collaboration with multiple departments are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in accounting with AP focus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Experience with US GAAP and month-end close is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full AP cycle for Thumbtack entities (US, Canada, Philippines).
• Ensure timely payments and policy adherence.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with departments for invoice approvals.
• Manage employee expense reports; process, accruals, reconciliation.
• Assist month-end close and bank reconciliations.
