Job summary

Del Playa Group in the Philippines seeks a Senior Accountant to support our U.S. operations, handling full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and ensuring accuracy across financial processes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, as well as Intacct or QuickBooks.

You will collaborate with U.S. stakeholders, adhere to U.S. GAAP, and work aligned with EST/PST hours in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or audit experience, Big 4 preferred.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA; U.S. credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and accounting systems (Intacct/QuickBooks).
• Proficient in Excel and Office 365.
• Ability to work U.S. hours (EST/PST).

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee AR and AP to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain financial systems (Intacct, credit card platforms, reimbursement tools).
• Prepare general ledger entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Ensure transactions comply with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist in financial reporting, workpapers, and audit documentation.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
• Ensure proper internal controls and segregation of duties.
• Collaborate with U.S. stakeholders on financial operations.
