Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking an Accounts Payable Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to work remotely on a Pacific Time schedule. You will manage AP and employee reimbursements globally, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and US GAAP compliance.

You’ll collaborate across departments, adapt to evolving systems, and help implement new tools like NetSuite, Coupa, and Navan as Thumbtack scales.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of solid experience as an Accountant with a focus on Accounts Payable.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle accounts payable for Thumbtack's US, Canada, and Philippines entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments per policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with departments for invoice approvals and documentation.
• Manage employee expense report processing, reviews, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist month-end close with bank matching and AP accruals.
