Maya Bank, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the IOps (Intelligent Operations) pillar within the Data Science and AI department.

This role will drive development of a unified conversational intelligence platform across chatbots and voicebots, integrating data assets, models, and AI capabilities to deliver scalable, context-aware customer experiences. The ideal candidate has deep GenAI expertise, 8+ years in data science, and 5+ years leading teams, with a proven ability to translate AI

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, CS).
• Experience deploying LLM-based or multi-agent conversational AIs in production.
• 8+ years in data science or related field.
• 5+ years leading data science teams.
• Proven track record delivering impactful data science projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ML, AI and analytics engineers.
• Design multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
• Define agent roles and handoff logic.
• Build evaluation and guardrail systems for conversational AI.
• Architect a unified intelligence layer to leverage chat and voice channels for consistent customer experiences.
• Develop and implement data science strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain high-performing data science models and pipelines.
• Conduct research and experimentation on cutting-edge AI/GenAI/ML techniques.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, business to deliver impactful solutions.
• Stay abreast of latest advancements in data science and technology.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Extract valuable insights from large datasets to guide model development.
• Measure and iterate on solutions to maximize customer satisfaction impact.
