Job summary

Maya is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer in the Philippines to transform customer support using data science and ML. You will build scalable, cost-efficient AI solutions in collaboration with data science and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include developing LLM-based applications, deploying ML models as APIs, and driving cross-functional AI initiatives. Strong coding in Python and experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in CS/Statistics or related field.
• 6+ years in ML/AI or data science roles, with 3+ years in customer-facing apps.
• Proficient in Python for developing ML services and deployment tooling.
• Experience deploying ML models as production APIs (FastAPI/Flask).
• Familiar with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy) and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain LLM-based apps, including voice/text agents.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to operationalize AI solutions.
• Identify inefficiencies in cloud and ML services and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Design ML infrastructure that scales while optimizing performance and cost.
• Analyze monitoring and metrics to inform system improvements.
• Measure impact via customer satisfaction, usage, and business outcomes.
