Job summary

Maya, a leading all-in-one money platform in the Philippines, seeks a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to transform customer support using ML and Data Science. You will work with data science, engineering, and platform teams to deliver scalable AI solutions that improve customer experiences.

You will develop and operate LLM-based applications, optimize models, and deploy ML services with cost-efficient infrastructure. Collaboration across teams and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• 6+ years in ML/AI or data science, with 3+ years in customer-facing apps.
• Core ML, deep learning, NLP and LLM knowledge for model optimization and deployment.
• Experience deploying ML models as APIs (FastAPI, Flask) and cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks).
• Proficient in Python; familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch and spaCy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain LLM-based apps including voice/text agents.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to operationalize AI solutions.
• Identify inefficiencies in internal ML services and drive cross-functional fixes.
• Design scalable ML infrastructure optimizing performance and cost.
• Analyze monitoring/logging data to inform improvements and outcomes.
• Measure impact via customer satisfaction, usage and business metrics.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
