Job summary

HMM (SG) Pte Ltd is seeking a logistics professional to manage Singapore transshipment operations, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound movements and adherence to regulations. You will support Malaysia staff, analyze dwell times, and drive improvements with HQ.

The role requires solid understanding of PSA tariffs, customs rules, and Southeast Asian feeder networks, plus strong analytical and reporting skills to support cost control and planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years of shipping, logistics, or transshipment experience preferred.
• Good understanding of Singapore transshipment operations, PSA tariffs, customs regulations, and regional feeder networks.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Singapore transshipment (inbound & outbound) operations.
• Support and guide Malaysia transshipment staff, including handling operational exceptions and emergencies.
• Monitor dwell time and control operational costs, including PSA-related charges (e.g. re-nomination, shut-out, storage rent).
• Prepare operational reports and perform data analysis.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and coordinate IT enhancement requests with HQ.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and transshipment requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of Southeast Asia feeder networks to support operational planning.
