Job summary

Leth Agencies Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Support professional to assist the operations team in ensuring smooth vessel transits and efficient service across ship agency operations.

You will communicate with clients and vessels, manage accounts and KPIs, and provide administrative support while coordinating with multiple departments. Weekend hours may be required depending on transit schedules.

Qualifications

• ITE Nitec/O Levels/Diploma or degree in Shipping Operations or Maritime Studies.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Maritime industry.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing the shipping industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and on weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring a smooth operation for vessel transits.
• Communicate effectively with clients & vessels to provide instructions, updates, and information on canal procedures.
• Manage clients’ accounts and produce relevant KPIs.
• Ensure timely and successful service according to customer needs.
• Provide cost estimates prior to vessel arrival and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders for timely delivery of services.
• Provide administrative support to the operations department, including filing, data entry and documentation management.
• Communicate proactively with all parties involved in transits call.
• Timely updates into system where applicable regarding vessel operations.
