Job summary

Ascendion in Makati is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Scrum experience and a proven ability to facilitate cross‑functional teams.

You will coordinate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner with Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to drive continuous improvement. The role offers a hybrid setup, dayshift hours, and an urgent start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Manage and support multiple Agile projects and Scrum teams.
• Work closely with Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure teams understand and consistently follow Agile and Scrum principles.
• Identify and remove impediments that may affect team productivity and delivery.
• Support Product Owners in backlog management, prioritization, and sprint preparation.
• Monitor sprint progress, team performance, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Promote collaboration and effective communication across technical and business teams.
• Help teams improve their processes, productivity, and overall delivery quality.
• Facilitate resolution of conflicts and issues within cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and deliverables.
• Track and communicate project and sprint progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Scrum Master with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Agile project delivery and Scrum methodologies.

The ideal candidate has experience managing and facilitating multiple projects simultaneously and has worked with cross-functional teams composed of different roles, including Software Developers, QA/Testers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other project stakeholders.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring effective Scrum practices, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing team impediments, and helping teams continuously improve their delivery processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role.

• Proven experience handling multiple projects or Scrum teams.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams composed of Developers, QA/Testers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other project roles.

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Strong facilitation, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience managing project dependencies, risks, impediments, and delivery concerns.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

• Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, or equivalent is an advantage.
