Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking a Scrum Master to lead Agile teams on software projects. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams and stakeholders, and removing impediments to delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/related fields, and holds an active Scrum certification with strong experience in Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, plus proficiency with Jira or Azure DevOps. Onsite in Makati is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• Proven experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software projects.
• Active Scrum certification (CSM/PSM I or equivalent) preferred.
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and PM tools like Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills.
• Onsite collaboration in Makati required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Retrospectives).

Scrum Master

• Location: Makati City (Head Office)
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices to optimize productivity.
• Identify, track, and proactively eliminate impediments or roadblocks that slow down the development team.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, define clear user stories, and map out sprint goals.
• Track and communicate team metrics, such as velocity and burn-down charts, to ensure transparent delivery progress.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, psychological safety, and self-organization within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within software development or digital transformation projects.
• Active Scrum certification is highly preferred (e.g., CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile) and experience using project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Exceptional communication, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence without authority.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating in an onsite team setup in Makati.
