Job summary

Directio is seeking a mid‑level Scrum Master for a hybrid role in Manila, working with a French client in software delivery.

You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams toward self‑organization and higher velocity. The role requires 2+ years of Scrum Master experience and familiarity with Jira/Confluence.

Work is hybrid with 3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH; strong English communication and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience in hybrid setup (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH).
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for backlog and progress tracking.
• Background or working knowledge of .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate delivery of high-quality software by driving Agile principles and fostering collaboration across teams.
• Organize and facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives with timeboxing.
• Remove impediments and promote cross-team communication to ensure seamless delivery.
• Coach the Scrum Team on Agile values and practices to build self-organization.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to maintain a healthy backlog and clear requirements.
• Track sprint progress using Agile tools and generate velocity and delivery health reports.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure transparency of progress, risks, and decisions.
• Encourage continuous improvement and actionable retrospectives.
• Participate in risk management and mitigation planning.
• Promote open communication and shared ownership across the organization.

About Project: We are looking for a Scrum Master for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating the delivery of high-quality software by driving Agile principles, ensuring effective collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across teams
• Organizing and facilitating core Scrum events - including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives - ensuring they are timeboxed, productive, and outcome-focused
• Removing impediments that block the team's progress, fostering strong collaboration between developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, allowing you to manage backlogs, track progress, and maintain clear and accessible project documentation
• Background or working knowledge of .NET, Java, ReactJS, and SQL technologies, helping you understand technical discussions and support teams more effectively
• Good communication skills in English, enabling clear facilitation of meetings and effective collaboration in an international environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supporting you in identifying bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment across roles and responsibilities
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely, ensuring transparency and shared understanding among both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent - validating formal Agile expertise and knowledge of Scrum principles
• Previous experience in software development or testing, particularly in frontend or backend roles within e-commerce environments
