Job summary

Southern Arms Corporation seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. You will drive revenue, mentor staff and implement strategic plans to penetrate markets and achieve targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales management or a similar leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools, with strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of the sales industry and market dynamics within the region.
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and motivating a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and action plans to drive business growth and market penetration.
• Managing the sales pipeline, forecasting revenue and analysing sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Conducting regular sales training sessions and coaching to enhance team skills, product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Recruiting, onboarding and developing sales representatives to build a talented and motivated team.
• Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic planning.
• Preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts and performance analysis to senior management.
• Collaborating with other departments including marketing, finance and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
• Managing sales budgets, expenses and resource allocation effectively
