As a Sales Manager (HORECA) you must lead and motivate a sales team to achieve revenue goals by developing sales strategies, setting targets, training and coaching staff, managing sales pipelines, and reporting on performance to upper management. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and evaluating sales personnel, developing sales plans and budgets, collaborating with other departments, and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify new market opportunities and customer segments
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives
- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations
- Ensures personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated.
- Ensures compliance to established standards, company policies, rules and regulations.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high satisfaction levels
Performance Monitoring
- Track sales metrics and KPIs
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align efforts
- Provide feedback to improve products and services based on market insights
Other Duties
- Adherence to plan activities as well as government and other regulatory requirements
- To perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to support the organization’s Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Graduate of Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
- Work Experience: at least 3-5 years in hotel, restaurant and catering (HORECA) industry
- Certification/License CRM Proficiency (advantage but required)
