Job summary

K.U.S Structural Components, Inc. in Davao City is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive new business in the construction sector. The role requires evaluating customer needs, drafting quotations, and coordinating visits to maximize sales opportunities.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in sales within the construction industry, are bilingual (English & Filipino), and can work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong customer service standards. On-site reporting in Panacan is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year experience in Construction Industry.
• At least 1 year of related sales experience.
• Willing to report on site in Panacan, Davao City.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new customers and projects from various sources and updates on construction projects.
• Drafts quotations based on customer behavior and buying patterns to maximize deal closure.
• Collects background and ongoing project information to facilitate credit approval.
• Plans visiting schedules in advance to maximize weekly customer visits.
• Monitors and follows up on long-overdue payments.
• Analyzes reports to increase sales revenue and profitability.
• Performs ad-hoc duties as directed by Sales Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solicits new customers/products through Project Information, existing customers’ recommendations, and other sources which provide regular updates on construction projects.
• Evaluate customers’ behavior and buying patterns in order to appropriately draft quotations to maximize the possibility of securing the deal.
• Collects and collates background and ongoing project information of new customers to better facilitate credit approval.
• Administers proper planning of visiting schedules in advance to achieve maximum customer visits per week.
• Monitors and follows up on long-overdue payments.
• Analyses reports which help to increase sales revenue and achieve profitability.
• Any other ad-hoc duties by Sales Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational Attainment: Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year experience in Construction Industry
• Must have at least 1 year of related sales experience
• Flexible, organized and goal-oriented
• Bilingual in both English & Filipino
• Able to work without supervision, equipped with a strong customer service mindset
