Job Role: SALES DIRECTOR - DIAGNOSTICS & MEDICAL DEVICES

Arni Medica Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and scale our Diagnostics (FIA / CLIA / IVD / POCT) and Medical Devices business across India.

This is a leadership role responsible for national revenue growth, channel expansion, and building high-performance sales teams.

Role Overview

The Sales Director will own PAN-India sales strategy and execution, drive distributor partnerships, build regional sales teams, and accelerate market penetration for Arni Medica’s rapidly expanding diagnostics and device portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute national sales strategy for Diagnostics (Rapid, FIA, CLIA, IVD, POCT) and Medical Devices
• Build annual operating plans, revenue forecasts, and territory strategies
• Identify new markets, key accounts, and growth opportunities

Business Development

• Appoint, manage, and scale distributor / channel partner networks
• Drive key hospital, lab chain, and institutional partnerships
• Lead high-value negotiations and commercial closures

Team Building & Management

• Recruit, train, and mentor regional sales managers and field teams
• Set KPIs, targets, incentive structures, and performance reviews
• Build a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and growth

Market Expansion

• Support CMEs, demos, scientific meetings, and customer engagement programs
• Track competitor activity and provide strategic market intelligence

Operational Excellence

• Ensure CRM discipline, pipeline management, and accurate reporting
• Support complaint resolution, collections oversight, and customer retention
• Work closely with Regulatory, QA, Manufacturing, and R&D teams

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years experience in Diagnostics / IVD / Medical Devices Sales, with 4-5 years in leadership roles
• Proven success scaling national sales or large regional teams
• Strong exposure to FIA / CLIA / Rapid / POCT platforms preferred
• Existing relationships with diagnostic labs, hospital chains, or distributors is a strong plus
• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and people leadership skills
• Comfortable with aggressive targets and extensive travel
• Life Sciences / Pharmacy / MBA background preferred
