The Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales leads, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the execution of end-to-end sales transactions. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely coordination with internal departments (Project Management, Supply Chain, and Finance), and consistent delivery of customer satisfaction aligned with company goals.
The position serves as the frontline support in the sales cycle — from prospecting and quotation preparation to client follow-ups and after-sales coordination — contributing to the achievement of the team’s sales targets and organizational growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Support and Client Servicing
- Assist in identifying potential clients, preparing proposals, and conducting client presentations.
- Ensure all inquiries, quotations, and client communications are handled promptly and professionally.
- Support Sales Managers in client meetings and negotiations when required.
Documentation and Coordination
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of client inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Project Management) for requirements fulfillment.
- Monitor project progress and relay updates to clients as necessary.
Revenue and Target Achievement
- Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly sales quotas set by the Sales Manager.
- Participate in marketing activities, trade shows, and client engagement events to increase business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication and proactive engagement.
- Handle customer feedback and ensure prompt resolution of issues in coordination with the appropriate units.
Reporting and Compliance
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit weekly and monthly sales activity reports.
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies, documentation standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in engineering, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge in CRM tools is an advantage.
- Has a winning mindset, capable of delivering positive results focused in contributing to the company's income generation
- Highly organized, customer-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
