About the Role:

The Risk Operations Specialist supports daily Risk Management operations through quality reviews, risk monitoring, operational escalations, case management, and issue resolution. This role focuses on assigned workflows while maintaining a general understanding of other Risk Management processes. The specialist is expected to work independently, follow established procedures, identify potential risks, and know when additional review or escalation is needed.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing changing priorities while providing reliable operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned quality reviews, carrier performance checks, and monitoring tasks accurately and on time.
• Monitor certain types of alerts coming into operational channels, including Compliance Review, Tracking Issues, Load Lock, and Comcheck, and respond to requests within assigned responsibilities.
• Review and assist with carrier concerns, shipment issues, and operational escalations, identifying potential risks and taking appropriate action.
• Manage assigned Salesforce cases, including case closures, payable holds, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Maintain a general understanding of Risk Management processes to recognize issues, take appropriate initial action, and escalation when needed.
• Communicate with internal teams to provide updates, gather information, and coordinate resolution of outstanding issues.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure open issues are appropriately resolved, documented, or handed off.
• Follow established SOPs, escalation guidelines, and response-time expectations.
• Adjust daily priorities based on workload, staffing, and business needs, including evening, weekend, and absence coverage.
• Support additional Risk Management tasks as needed, based on training and department priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, customer support, risk operations, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time-sensitive requests.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions within established guidelines.
• Comfortable working independently and recognizing when additional guidance is needed.
• Ability to learn new processes and adapt to changing responsibilities.
• Experience with Salesforce, Comcheck, or similar operational systems preferred.
• Flexibility in schedule.
