Job summary

Shopee Philippines is seeking a results-driven Vendor Acquisition Senior Executive/Manager to lead sourcing, onboarding, and growth of retail vendor partners on our platform across Manila and key Philippine cities.

The role covers the full acquisition funnel—from lead generation and pitching to contract closure and onboarding—focusing on wet markets, pharmacies, convenience stores, and neighborhood retailers. Field sales and KPI tracking are core to success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in vendor/merchant acquisition or field sales in ecommerce, retail, or FMCG.
• Proven track record of meeting vendor sign-up and activation targets.
• Strong negotiation, pitching, and relationship-management skills.
• Willingness to perform field sales and vendor visits.
• Familiarity with onboarding systems, commissions, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new retail vendor partners — from wet markets, pharmacies, convenience stores, and other neighborhood retailers — to grow platform supply in assigned territories.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective vendors through cold outreach, on-ground visits, referrals, and territory mapping.
• Pitch platform value proposition, negotiate commercial terms (commission rates, contracts), and close partnership deals with vendor owners.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding — documentation, catalog/SKU setup, system integration, and go-live coordination.
• Track and report on acquisition KPIs; conduct market and competitor analysis to identify underserved areas and growth opportunities
• Build strong relationships with vendor owners to support long-term retention.
