Shopee in Metro Manila seeks a Category Specialist for Assets, Equipment & Services to bridge Warehouse Operations and Vendor Management. You will drive sourcing strategies, lead RFPs, and manage contracts across nationwide warehouses to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement with strong data governance, cost optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel to vendor sites may be required and the team focuses on strategic procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement or vendor management experience, PH experience preferred.
• Experience in fulfillment, warehouse distribution, or facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning to create contract plans aligned with business goals.
• Create and execute procurement strategies to drive cost savings.
• Conduct detailed supply market and cost analysis for leases and services.
• Lead RFPs, tender meetings and provide technical evaluations with procurement teams.
• Lead negotiations or support lead negotiator with strategies and tactics.
• Oversee planning and monitoring of MHE, leased assets, and key services nationwide.
• Track asset requests, evaluate costs, and ensure PRs convert to POs on time.
• Maintain up-to-date asset inventory records in internal systems.
• Build performance metrics to monitor vendor delivery and SLAs.
• Coordinate validation of vendor invoices and payment status.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and optimize overall spend.
• Lead cross-functional procurement projects and innovative initiatives.
• Design standard workflows to improve warehouse operations.
• Prepare executive-ready updates and reports for leadership reviews.
