Job summary

UnionBank Region 5-Bicol seeks a Relationship Manager-Retail Banking to grow deposits and the customer base through proactive business development and relationship management. You will acquire new clients, strengthen existing relationships, and promote banking products while ensuring compliance with policies.

Collaborating with branch teams, you will deliver excellent service, meet sales targets, and identify cross‑selling opportunities across loans, credit cards, and bancassurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• Experience in retail banking, sales, or relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationships.
• Familiarity with BSP regulations, AML/KYC, and banking compliance.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and grow deposit accounts (CASA) and funds portfolio.
• Identify, engage, and acquire prospective clients through sales calls and presentations.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to develop effective sales strategies.
• Evaluate client needs and facilitate referrals for loans, credit cards, bancassurance, and other bank products.
• Coordinate with branch teams to ensure prompt resolution of client concerns.
• Support branch sales initiatives and promote a strong customer service culture.
• Prepare and submit sales activity and client call reports.
