The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations and ensuring that staff consistently follow company standards for food quality, customer service, cleanliness, cash handling, inventory, and food safety. The role supports the Restaurant Manager in maintaining smooth and efficient store operations.
Supervise and monitor daily restaurant and shift operations.
Lead, assign, and monitor restaurant staff during assigned shifts.
Ensure excellent customer service, order accuracy, speed of service, and proper handling of customer concerns.
Monitor food quality, portioning, preparation, and product availability.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Monitor inventory, receiving, stock rotation (FIFO), proper storage, and wastage.
Assist in conducting inventory counts and identifying stock discrepancies or variances.
Monitor POS transactions, cash handling, sales reports, and cash reconciliation.
Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are completed.
Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower deployment.
Coach employees and provide immediate feedback regarding performance and operational issues.
Report incidents, cash or inventory variances, equipment concerns, and policy violations to the Restaurant Manager.
Ensure company SOPs, policies, promotions, and operational standards are properly implemented.
Prepare and submit accurate shift and operational reports.
Take charge of restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Knowledgeable in restaurant operations, inventory, cashiering, and customer service.
Familiar with food safety, sanitation, FIFO, inventory control, and wastage monitoring.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to delegate tasks, coach employees, and handle operational concerns.
Comfortable handling POS transactions, sales reports, and cash reconciliation.
Demonstrates integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and a hands‑on work attitude.
Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
Willing to undergo training/immersion and perform hands‑on restaurant operations.
